Records of the early stages of the Ur-Quan Conflict are fragmentary. Some events can be reconstructed from battle footage and reports from those present. As very few of those early battles took place near the Sol system, the Earth media took little interest. Of course the first contact with the Chenjesu was a major event, but the subsequent battles were of little interest to the average Earthling, until the Ur-Quan advance was practically on Sol’s doorstep. The problems associated with using alien records are well known; their perspective is frequently so skewed that little of value can be gleaned from them.
There was a flurry of political maneuvering and backstabbing as the Ur-Quan advanced into our part of the galaxy . Ship designs were tested in combat and soon discarded in favor of more advanced types.
