The Starship Clans flung themselves into glorious battle during this period, even as the Veep-Neep Queen solidified her political power to their detriment.  Solid and hard-hitting, Yehat Terminators formed the backbone of many Alliance fleets of the day.  The Yehat were well situated to perform reconnaissance missions early in the war, and to establish forward bases. Their Shofixti "children" served aboard the Terminators of the time, but had not yet developed their own Scouts yet.

    The Terminator has changed little over the years. The model current during this period was usually painted green and red, and deployed the usual rapid-fire missiles and a spherical shield. Later models would employ a "skin-tight" shield, increasing energy efficiency.
