The Avenger remained substantively the same during the entire war. During this period the ships were dyed green as (or with?) the blood of the Ariloulaleelay. The ship was "devistating" (sic), as one contemporary account put it, at close range. Such range was easily achieved, despite the ship’s slow speed, because the cloaking device allowed the ship to travel undetected in Truespace.
