First Lensman

Here is the cover of the Old Earth Books edition of First Lensman,  which is substantively the same as the original Fantasy Press edition.  Obviously this depicts a spaceship, but which one?  I'm guessing that this is the scout ship commanded by Jack Kinnison and Mase Northrup.  The art is by A. J. Donnell.
